The US Capital, Library of Congress, Supreme Court, Folger Shakespeare Library, and Frederick Douglas Museum are easy walking distance away. The Smithsonian, Capital Mall, Washington Monument, Vietnam War Memorial, Jefferson and Lincoln Memorials and other major DC historical attractions are within minutes by subway or by car.
We are located at 13th and G SE, close to Pennsylvania Ave with the renewed Marine Barracks Row Retail section on 8th Street SE within walking to all types of restaurants and shops lining each side of the street.
The ever popular Eastern Market is just blocks away where generations of farmers sell farm raised products from the country. On weekends vendors host an additional outdoor flea market, antique market, and an arts and crafts market.
The "Hill" as we call it fondly is home of many beautiful flower filled front yards and tree lined streets, with uniquely placed row homes nestled in history but living in the heart of downtown Washington, DC.

Barney Circle host amenities such as a front enclosed sun porch with seating, an ultra comfortable bedroom with a flat screen TV just for the morning news. An IPOD docking station and CD player gives you enough technology to bring your own music to create some semblance of home. Wireless Internet is available for those that bring a laptop to stay connected and a separate phone line for your privacy. The living room has a Flat Screen TV and a comfortable leather pull out sofa with a queen size bed. A convertible desk with chair can be opened for dining of 2 - 4 people. Magazines, books, DVD's, and videos are there for you to use. Also, a backyard enclosed court yard with umbrella seating to soak in some DC weather.
The Kitchen and bath are special since they were appointed with you in mind. The kitchen is quaint with microwave, stove, refrigerator, and wash/dryer for your convenience. It will be out fitted with all the needs for your stay, (china, bowls, glassware, pots, pans, toaster, and electric coffee maker). The refrigerator will be stocked with complimentary breakfast foods for the three day stay - muffins, bagels, bread, jams, jellies, juice, and eggs, as well as snacks: cheese crackers, fruits, and soft drinks with bottled water. A welcome gift will accompany the beginning of each three day stay.
The Bathroom has been renovated for relaxation, granite floors, full length mirror, cabinets, étagère, and an 8 head massage shower fixture with enclosed tub stocked with towels. We provide specialty soaps and shampoos if needed.
